I have a '02 Honda CRV (2.0 automatic-4spd) and I want to have a '05 Honda 2.4 eng. and auto trans (w/5 speed) installed into it. Can this be done? Does anyone know the price of a '05 Honda 2.4 engine and 5 speed automatic transmission and installation costs?

Is there any noticeable performance difference between an automatic 4 speed and an 5 speed transmission?

I would say your taking on a lot of work and expence for little gain, Ive done these sort of thing's in the past but looking back on it your better off just changing the car !

I was figuring that another '02 or '03 Honda CRV is at least 700K+

But this way, 'if', all goes well I could have a new motor and trans.
