Defamation laws in Thailand

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I'll need some feedback regarding defamation laws in Thailand. I have created this website which I want impartial yet it seems the Thai laws are very unclear regarding what is defamation and what is not. Could you please look at my website and tell me what you think about it in terms of being in "sync" with Thai laws? The website is www.sataban.com and the two main issues that I struggle with are:

1_The rating system

2_People's comments/reviews

Thanks,

Romain

Next to dating an underage girl the one thing that I would not fool with in this country is a web site that ask for readers comments

You are responsible for those comments and remember they love the term "deemed to be offensive" in this country

Good luck, hopefully someone else can guide you through this minefield
