I thought these couple of turds were to sick to appear till the 8th of May. A miraculous Easter like resurrection.

Indeed. Like the miraculous recovery of a certain injured ankle when it suits.

Perhaps they can open a health spa when they finally get kicked out of any kind of office.

The delaying tactics for Yingluck's NACC case is working in Thaksin's favor, with the re introduction of the amnesty bill around the corner, everything works according to plan.

"You do it my way, you do it Pheu Thai way or die..."

Worried you are correct. Just wondering how her delaying tactics will allow the Amnesty bill to be brought back to life. I thought the 180 days on the back burner expired around the middle of May and no elections till after late May at the earliest.

I thought the Amnesty bill was dead, but maybe I'm wrong.

Have another look at the Constitution. If parliament is dissolved during the 180 day period, the new time period is 60 days after the reconvocation of the House. It just needs to be approved in a cabinet resolution and passed by the House by a simple majority vote without further reference to the Senate. I am sure Thaksin is planning for this and wouldn't tell the PM to dissolve the House the next time. He would tell them to just tough it out and wait for the protestors to exhaust themselves, knowing their is nothing they can do to topple the new government. Then a year later he will fly home a free man and take brutal revenge.

Correct. The Pardon the Chief Criminal Bill has the 60 days recall on the first House meeting. But hey it's sweet...Thaksin's honest puppet parrot has said the Amesty Bill is off the table for good. Regardless of Thaksin's wishes and his lackey's constant lies if that Bill is brought back to the House then all hell will break loose

You may have hit the nail on the head on why big T will sacrifice little sister. If another stooge is in the PM role they will bring back the bill. They will say what YL said was right at the time she said it, but things have moved on and she ain't PM anymore. Craftier than a barrel load of monkeys!

All about one man, and his manipulations to get himself above and beyond the law, exorcise full power and resume what he sees as his rightful place. Dark days ahead.

BANGKOK — Redshirt leader Jatupon Prompan and his deputy Nattawut Saikua have thanked the Criminal Court for dismissing the request to have their bails revoked.

My eyesight must be failing me in my old age.....I initially read the headline as "for dismissing the request to have their baLLS revoked." and thought what?

Nice to see Jat and Nut have got their bails back.

Now, what's the minimum number to constitute a rally?

cheesy.gifclap2.gif Good question, bigbamboo. I guess it depends on who you ask. Always has been that way, throughout history...

For example, in WW2, to be considered a Fighter Pilot "Ace", you had to have 300 victories, later, in the US, a Flying Ace, was somebody, who had 5 or more victories to his name.

So with that in mind, maybe to Jat and Nut, a rally means two or more people. So if they are both not sick that day, they should be able to achieve Rally status. cheesy.gif

300 victories to be considered an ace?? You need to read some better books or websites. Try starting with when air warfare commenced in WW1. A clue, WW1 was fought for several years before the US joined.

The low turn out UDD rally, followed by the cancelled one, and now this upcoming mega best ever one. What a complete joke they are becoming. "Hey Suthep, we couldn't beat your numbers with our pathetic first attempt, bottled out of the second; but we'll beat you this time - with the biggest mega most massive turn out from our minority party and its new model militia". And these are the UDD cream (albeit self selected Thaksin appointed cream).

Refers to Arporn Sarakham, a wife of Udon Red Shirt leader Khunchai. She won a Senate election in Udon Thani. This was a happy development for the core Red Shirt leadership that is still loyal to Thaksin. The movement has recently had to contend with leadership squabbles and criticism of the government that has cut into Red Shirt support at the grassroots.

neither Mr. Jatupon nor Mr. Nattawut attended; lawyers representing both activists said they were ill.

...must have caught the same social disease from each other...

Give the frequent emitting of male bovine excreta by this 2 are you suggesting it could be Bovine spongiform encephalopathy ?

"Shortly after the court decision was announced, Mr. Jatupon and Mr. Nattawut—who did not seem to be visibly afflicted by any illness—appeared at a press conference of the United Front of Democracy Against Dictatorship (UDD) to express their thanks to the judges."

A miraculous recovery! So typical and not unexpected.

Next time send a court-appointed physician to their homes to confirm that they're indeed too ill to attend their hearings. And just to be on the safe side have the physician accompanied and supervised by a court official. If they turn out to be fine, charge them with contempt of court.

These "I am too sick" charades have got to end.
