Ear nose and thjroat clinic pinklao

Featured Replies

Hi I suppose the title says it all. I am looking for a clinic in or around the pinklao area. Does anybody know of one? My son has been having pain in his ear and a pharmacist gave us steroid drops, but his ear is now swelling and I want to get him to a specialist of some description

Rule number one !

Never , EVER seek medical advice from a "pharmacist" who in reality was probably a shop girl.

Sick children should always be taken to a Doctor.

The nearest public or private hospital will have an ENT specialist on staff.

Very close to Central Pinklao:

The above doctor is on the faculty of a major medical school and has published in international journals, usually a good sign

A little further away (but not much) :

Eye Ear Nose Throat Hospital Bangkok on Sirinthorn Road (near Central Pinklao). Use google map to pinpoint the exact location. http://www.eent.co.th/table_ent.html

Try Dr. Pakpoom Supiyaphan (ภาคภูมิ สุปิยพันธุ์ ) (associate Prof., head of department of ear, nose, throat at Chulalongkorn hospital, and president of The Royal College of Otolaryngologists-Head and Neck Surgeons of Thailand). http://staff.md.chula.ac.th/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=65&Itemid=71 (fist person)

He's available on Mon 8.30-10.30 and 17.00-20.00, Wed 8.30-12.00, Thu 17.00-20.00, Fri 8.30-12.00, and Sun 9.00-15.00. This private hospital doesn't cater for foriegners, so taking a Thai Speaker with you would be helpful.

+1

... but there are some English speaking doctors, especially in the eye clinic.

It has some good doctors, fast and friendly service.
