topatia
Today I saw that google earth now uses photo's in some parts in lower isaan. for e.g. the Airport in Satuk Buriram and area. cheers, Topatia
Lourens
That's great, but they just missed Buriram town on the bottom left corner of that photo. Anyone want to ask them to put that in for us?
croftrobin
Unfortunately the pictures are about 2 years old However its a very usefull resource Today I saw that google earth now uses photo's in some parts in lower isaan.for e.g. the Airport in Satuk Buriram and area. cheers, Topatia
topatia
Unfortunately the pictures are about 2 years old However its a very usefull resource You're wrong , I made a fence around my house in January this year. My brother in law made a new rice stock in February/March 2006 All these are clearly visible. Because the fish ponds are waterless. The photo's were made before the rain, so I think March/April this year. At least for the Buriram/Satuk area. I don't know for the Khon Kaen area, but I don't remember this large in photo's (Incl. Maha Sarakham) Cheers Topatia

citizen33
I'm not sure about all the parts of Maha Sarakham but those of our village seem to be about three years old. They have been displayed in high resolution for a while now and don't seem to have been affected by the recent changes reported for the images of Southern Isan. It's good to see the high-res areas expanding though.
Ollie
To put all this in perspective, my London street photo is at least 18 months old. I can clearly see my then garden table, but the photo shows a neighbours car that left the scene ages ago after he became too ill to drive. Last time I checked the wifes home near Chumpuang, the image was meaningless!
croftrobin
I'm not wrong - I built an extension 18 months ago - it is not to be seen. An English neighbour's house about 1km from me does not even show and he's been moved in for a year!
