Has anyone been able to successfully export The Apple Contacts with their contact photos into android?

I tried exporting a vcf file to gmail, all the contacts came through minus the photos!

Sadly, this is outdated.

Since then, either Apple or Google did something to bugger it up.

The contacts transfer minus the contact picture when a vcf is imported into Google contacts.
