orangeguy72
Can I get a one year thai drivers licence on my tourist visa. I've already got my residence certificate from the Immigration office here in pattaya and a letter from a doctor, but now I just need to know if a tourist visa is good eought forn a one year drivers licence. Also, I want to get both a car and motorbike licence and have both ckecked on my International driving license, but will I need two letters of my residence certificate. One letter was used by the motorcycle shop when I bought my bike or can I just make a copy on the residence cerificate I have left. I hear that you need one letter for each drivers licence(1 motorbike and one for the car).

David48
I suggest you pop on down to the Pattaya Forum where they have a special thread already written. requirements-for-obtaining-and-renewing-a-1-year-driving-licence
topt
You should be able to get by with one original and one copy of both the Residence Cert and Medical Cert. If going for both licences you will also need two copies of all the passport/visa stuff and of the IDP.
