Does anybody know if the old 80's ghetto blaster Lasonic Boombox I931 is available in Bangkok. A Thai friend living in Pattaya wants me to order one online in the USA. Found them on Amazon and eBay. But I’m hoping they are for sale somewhere in Thailand since they are huge & costly to transfer overseas.

Best bet would be the electronic stores in Chinatown. If not successful there check out the pawn shops

Good idea to find big electronics retailer in 80s 90s in Bangkok which closed now. I'm sure there is warehouse full of new not opened boomboxes and orger vintage electronics.

For example, a shop opposite old Siam store... They sell very old cosmetics from 70s 80s lol

If this item or something just like it is not for sale in the scores of shops in the Bon Mor district, then it likely is not in BKK. It will take lots of walking around and asking......... take a photo to hold up to the vendor clerks.

If a person wants entertainment electronics and does not know about Bon Mohr district, he does not know BKK.

Pantip Plaza is for computers and parts.

MBK is for mobile phones and more.
