More police join elite police force tasked to arrest protest leaders

5-15-2014-10-34-19-PM-wpcf_728x388.jpg

BANGKOK: -- Nine police officers from the Border Patrol Police Bureau, 3rd and 4th regional police bureau have been recruited by Pol Gen Worapong Chiewpreecha, the deputy national police chief, to join a crack police force tasked with pursuing and arresting 30 protest leaders wanted on insurrection and other criminal charges.

The nine crack police officers reported themselves to Pol Lt-Gen Sophon Pisutthiwong, commissioner attached to the Office of the National Police Chief, at the Office of the Narcotics Control Board on Thursday afternoon.

Earlier Department of Special Investigation Tarit Pengdit said that the crack police force would first target the protest leaders who have no or a few body guards and for those who are heavily guarded, the police would wait for the right timing to strike.

Well finally we have found some real sense , the only missing factor, what are they going to do with five thousand screaming anti police protestors looking to kick the elite police task force arse , when there leaders are arrested , what are they going to do when fifty thousand invade the police head Quarters looking for Tarit , would think twice about excepting an invitation, because this can happen and very quickly I might add.coffee1.gif

Very sad state of affairs when they have to recruit police who will actually carry out their duties. Do they geld most cops before or after issuing badges? Just watch as group led by indicted for treason demagogue takes over air force base.... <deleted>?

No doubt pasted on Facebook, twitter etc what a looser . Call in the US /French/British special teams, problem solved

Would they arrest the Government assasins who've killed 29 unarmed men women and children..............oh and the red shirt leaders breaking their bale conditions as well as the corrupt Government officials lining their pockets from the rice pledging scheme and every other scam going - then maybe we could zap your bunch of GI Joes over to Dubai to arrest the real problem................yeah right..............coffee1.gif

You should apply for a job as press secretary at the White House from now till 2016. You are very qualified under the current administration.

For those who don't have body guards, get some quick!

Thanks for the tip Tarit!

Another proactive saving face tactic for another planned failure.

I betcha he'll surround himself with woman and children, like PAD in 2008?

Human shields of 300-400 women were assigned to physically surround each PAD leader.[119] Foreign journalists reported that the PAD was paying people to join them at the airport, with extra payment being given to parents bringing babies and children.[120]

I'll bookmark this point so I can refer back to it, when the photos start rolling in.

very helpful - more intended abuse of power by PTP against a group of peaceful protestors that have already been declared lawful by the courts

Anyone noticed the deafening silence recently of the Police chief Adul - has he been sidelined

The Mad Monk has already confirmed that his people are violent. So I guess the court got it wrong

I expect an apology from all the yellows out there who complained about the police tipping off the red leaders before arresting them as corrupt.

They were clearly not showing bias by doing so, just their incompetence.

I assume from this comment you are not living in BK as anyone who has seen this mob could not consider them such, regardless of their political beliefs.

As for the courts, could you possibly name one case that has gone against the yellow side of politics from any high level court, despite the massive corruption that existed when the army gave them power?

Dogs (Waters, Gilmour)

You gotta be crazy, you gotta have a real need.

You gotta sleep on your toes, and when you're on the street,

You gotta be able to pick out the easy meat with your eyes closed.

And then moving in silently, down wind and out of sight,

You gotta strike when the moment is right without thinking.
