stubuzz
Why do some buildings use the small, thin, red bricks over the larger concrete blocks? What are the pros and cons of them both?
David48
'the small, thin, red bricks' ... are very, very cheap. That said, we just enclosed a bedroom at the Farmhouse. When I say we ... the Thai Family built it ... they used the standard (thin) Thai concrete 'breeze block'. Aussies know them as 'Bessa Blocks' (but thinner). PattayaPhom
Red bricks are stronger, larger PCC keep heat out and cool...no much difference in the cost per sqm
