Stereotypes..

Featured Replies

  • Popular Post

..not every Western male in Thailand is a monger/sexpat/sextourist.
..not every Western female is a bitch/overweight/manly
..not every Thai woman is an angel/perfect..nor are they all money grabbing/superficial etc
..not every Thai man is a whoring drunk with a small dick

..and the list goes on.

Negativity breeds negativity.

Even if most of the stereotypes are based on truth, does not mean all. ...so why not live life in Thailand with a more positive mindset (across the board)?

Just sayin'....

stereotypes exist because there is a high degree of truth to them,

and it wont apply to everyone,

so if you are trying to learn as much about a country/culture, a stereotype is a good place to start

asian men are shorter then farang men, is a stereotype,

yet someone will say its not true because they are 6'6 tall or know someone who is that tall

however, on average they are shorter, and thats the truth

and not all stereotypes are negative,

another stereotype of farangs being rich, just about every farang can and has used that to their advantage, consciously or not, the reality is, the average farang is far wealthier then the average thai

Not all posters are trolling pratts,

Not all members are grumpy old farts,

Some posters find thing original to contribute

Some posters keep regurgitating the same mindless drivel.

Some are actually intelligent caring individuals with constructive and helpful things to contribute.

Even if many are stereotyped individuals who frequent forums, does not mean all,

So why not visit the forums with an open mind and welcome heart until proven otherwise.

Just sayin

..i imagine h90 means the quantity of them. I mean its mind boggling in some ways.

Its not just normal queries either..its things like "Do Thai ladies like men with ear hair?" (a fictional example of course..however, it may just turn up now!)

However..hope this doesnt go toooooo off topic!

Not every poster here is married to a Thai woman. Although that might come as a shock to some.

Bugger Off! You are stereotyping stereotypes!
