Faxing In Thailand

Featured Replies

Im living in Samui if it makes a difference...

So my gf tells me that if I use the house phone to make a call that it is 3 baht per call. If I plug in a fax machine does that mean that its 3 baht per fax that I send?

I have a lot of faxes to send so Im wondering the best way to go about it. I have a 1 page fax that I want to send to about 100 different numbers. Maybe its best to get some online service and have them send it off to everyone?

Has anyone done this? Id like to recieve faxes as well from thai clients...

The rate of 3 baht per call or per fax only applies to local calls!!

Any greater distance is charged at national rates.

It might be worth seeing if you can connect your pc to a mobile phone

as their national rates are much better than on a land line.

I am not sure a fax service will help.

I think you will still be charged per fax.

You can also send faxes directly from your pc.

There may be some sw that will allow you to set up a list of numbers

and then leave the pc to send for you..

It won't save you any money, just time!!

Receiving faxes is very simply as long as the fax mahine is powered on.

It may be better to have a seperate line for the fax, so that you do not

annoy people wishing to speak to you.
