May 22, 201412 yr Hello All. I'll be in Hua Hin with a couple of friends for 2 night and we would like to know which area/bars we can visit for some entertainment ....(never been before ) and hotel recommendations in the ฿1000 to ฿2000 per night range close to the action . Please keep comments within TV rules I do not want it to get my post closed by Mods before I get the info Cheers
May 22, 201412 yr How about the Thai Visa Forum Bar? http://huahin.thaivisa.com/thelounge/#.U32jOSh2fIU
May 22, 201412 yr Soi bintabaht and the surrounding area is the hub of the nightlife. Head there for a nice fun relaxed evening. This time of year many hotels and guest houses in your price range, why not have a gander on Agoda. I often stayed in the Hua Hin Sport Villa slightly away from the scene or close to the action Citin Loft should be in that price range. Edited May 22, 201412 yr by stoneyboy
May 22, 201412 yr The Fresh Inn, directly opposite the Hilton. Right amongst everything, you'll never need a taxi. Close to the beach as well.
May 22, 201412 yr Try the moonlight bat in the town centre to hear a great rock band fronted by cartoon, the lead guitarist. Just awesome.
May 22, 201412 yr Soi 80 is another option... small bars nice girls (what I hear), there are some restaurants and places where you can play dart...
May 22, 201412 yr Stoneyboy is right. Around binta baht is the main area: MAP https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/Bintabaht/@12.5680605,99.958239,17z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x30fdabb25e9a5b5b:0x657bf50e0af3f755 Edited May 22, 201412 yr by Lancashirelad
May 22, 201412 yr Don't go to soi 80 unless you want to hang out with a load of expats :-) and if I were being unkind I'd say a few old hags past their best!! Bars around Bintabaht - if you want busy/noisy go to Click. The only bars I visit now are: - Wildcat bar - attractive women and friendly American owner named Trevor - Diamond bar - brilliant pool table, friendly staff (but not overbearing) - Tiger bar 2 - good host (Dirk from Denmark / Belgium) I've given up going to the rest....it's pretty damn quiet at the moment, you won't find much in the way of action like you would in Phuket / Pattaya / Bangkok / Chiang Mai.
May 22, 201412 yr Are the bars in Hua Hin all closed tonight due to this curfew ? They should be; It's a nationwide curfew from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
May 24, 201412 yr Black out bar for me, nice and relaxed, best Tom Collins cocktails I've had in town Wiffy
