The Army have two new security check points in place, one is just before the market on the 214 and the other is 500 meters before the Chong Chom Border Crossing. No commercial vehicle are crossing and no in or outs. No casino vans or tour buses are running. Before the market. Market 500 meters from the Chong Chom Border Crossing.

Maejo Man
Thanks for your report. No reports so far about other border crossings. Every land border is closed, which is normal when a coup happens. Land borders are the first place the army close, as has happened in the last 30 years of witnessing coups in the kingdom. They normally relax border crossings in a week or so. Edited May 23, 2014 by Maejo Man
