What all those words with "porn" in it were meaning? I wondered for many years what Ittiporn, Porntip or Supaporn was. I didn't know that they are common girlsnames and i was really curious what was happening in the shops with such names .

Then one day i went to Hua Hin in a car from Bkk together with 2 girls. They stopped at a large building with the text "Condominium" on it. Something like Chayaporn condominium. I never heard of the word condominium before and got pretty nervous what was going to happen. They told me to sit and wait in the car while they went to book the rooms. Finally all went well and it was just a normal appartmentbuilding from a friend of them but i got pretty nervous about going to a "condominium".

Then at the streets i met some girls who asked me if i liked to smoke boomboom. Never heard of those cigarettes or whatever it was before.

Did you guys also have experiences like that being new in Thailand? My first time in Thailand was 20 years ago.

you can blame the brits for all the "porn" as they transliterate the aw sound to or ... so if yanks had done it you would be asking why there are so many "pawns" here.

This is a dilemma I faced daily for the first twelve months here. I constantly felt like I was being lined up for a porn shoot - with both men and women.
