Arriving during Curfew

Featured Replies

I have a friend arriving next week at Suv airport, late at night 22:00-23:00.

If the curfew is still in place, will there be taxis around to pick her up?

Will they be able to take her to a downtown hotel?

Anyone arrived recently like that?

Correct me if I am wrong, ( and someone sure will! ) but I read somewhere on the forum that travel to and from airports etc was exempt, as long as it could be proven, i.e. air tickets etc.

Yes you are totally correct. I wrote many article which is published by consulate.

As I understand the process. If your friend gets a taxi from the airport, the taxi will be given an exemption to travel. It is for "authorised" airport taxis.

Just announcing on all TV channels the curfew has been lifted somewhat, 12 midnight until 4am
