Annoying facebook problem - HELP?

Each time I add a photo or do any amendments to my facebook profile all my listed friends are notified.

This is probably extremely annoying to them and me because with each change within minutes I am receiving likes, loads of comments and emails.

I do not wish to block receiving notifications from friends because it doesn`t bother me and also still want to give friends full access to my facebook without blocking them from anything.

So the bottom line is, all I want to do is stop notifications going out from my page each time I make any amendments. I have tried Googling but have not found any answers and also been into my facebook settings and can`t see any means for doing this.

So is there any facebook whiz kids out there who can help?
