Hey all on TV !
I'm in Thailand since end of feb. on a single E tourist Visa, and a 2 month extension of stay based on thai wife.
So 4 months here end of june.

I was planning to visit a friend in SG at the end of the month and at the same time to ask for a new single Entry tourist visa leading me (with an extension of stay) to end of september when I have my flight back...

Though all what I could find here about Thai embassy in SG and visas is like I wont even get it.

1st because my flight back isn't into the 60 days visa but into 90, also on the website they ask for a "Visa of a third country in a passport or travel document" I even don't understand that :)

So I really doesn't feel god about that.
I guess if my Tourist visa is refused, I still could be back in Thailand on a 30 days exemption (even with the new tough rules enforcement)

But then I will have to move again out of thailand for a new tourist visa end of july...

Anyway all testimonies I've found about SG were about oct. of last year, nothing really up to date?

So I was wondering if anyone had some recent experiences here ?

Or should I forgot SG and goes for Savanakhet for my tourist visa... Then maybe had a trip to SG after i asked for a re-entry permit...?

Thanks all !

For the ticket out within 60 days you could perhaps find a cheap one way ticket to a nearby country. Buying it in advance you probably could find one so cheap you could toss it in the trash and not loose a lot. Check Air Asia for flights. This might be lower in cost than a trip to Savannakhet.

I think a visa for a 3rd country would would not apply to you because you can travel to several countries in the area without one. That would only be needed for those from certain countries.

Thanks Joe, once again.

Yeah you right I didn't think about that one way cheap ticket... Could solve that issue.

But I'm still worrying about proof of tourism purpose of stay...

For the 3rd visa it's quite strange ain't it ? Really don't understand it...

IF my tourist visa is refused, should I have any trouble to get in Bkk with a 30 days exempton after being there for 4 months?

Anyway I also checked how to go to Savanakhet where it seems to be more "relax" to get any visa without hassle..
Flying with air asia to Nakhon Phanom plus transfer to mukdahan is as expensive as going to SG :)

I've seen a topic about how to go there, so will check it too.
