I have recently been attempting to order items from UK,EU and US.

The item costs were all OK,but the excessive carriage charges,even when using standard postal rates have killed the transactions.

Maybe time to invest in these companies !!

Depending on the item etc and how its sent, you also have to worry about import tax too !

I have only been caught once...a package of smoked haddock fillets from Scotland....their demand was so rediculous I told them to stuff it

What did they stuff the fillets with? Cream cheese might be nice!

A 5 kg pack of dried marrowfat peas.....cost 5.61 GBP....post 56 GBP.
