Chao Lao Beach
On Sat night I was 2 hours North of Bangkok and this was not really being enforced. Nothing changed at the stroke of 12, except restaurants closed.

EricBerg
The curfew will be lifted in more and more places. So far the military are doing very well. In the end the curfew will have lasted short only where public safety is great. Not too long ago there were shootings and bombings. None of those now. Let's hope it stays that way. Stocky
Sure is, im wondering why Hat Yai has been lifted before CM ! Hat Yai has a heavy military presence on the streets and in the region anyway, the curfew was overkill - and as said, Hat Yai isn't Red Shirt territory. hugh2121
It's very interesting that TAT claim that tourism is down by about 10%. I met a guy at Big C in Pattaya today, a regular visitor. He arrived from UK a few days ago via EVA Air. On arrival at Suvarnabhumi he found immigration completely empty of arrivals except for 3 Thai people at the Thai passport desk. Always chocker block when I used to come through. Hmmmmmmmmmmm!
