Any hotels in Udon offering DSL in the room yet? A modem connection without a 10 minute timeout would even be ok.

When I was in Udon recently, I made good use of the free wireless internet at the Irish Clock pub (they have some tables close to wall plugs too, so you dont necessarily have to use the battery either).

This might be a good alternative unless you need to use the Internet for extended periods of time.

Thanks for that. I had just made reservations for a room here, they say the wireless reaches all the rooms.
