Please Help Me With A Visa Issue!

Featured Replies

Hello,

I have an one entry non B-visa that will expire July, 31 and I need to prolong my stay until September, 6 since there is no earlier date for my departure because all plane tickets have been sold out.

What am I supposed to do?

I need to have a visa for over 30 days (for the period between July, 31 and September, 6) but I suppose they can give me only a 30 day tourist visa extension.

Is that right?

I do not want to pay any fine but I do not know what to do.

Please, help me....

Thank you very much!

Hi Kate, panic not :o

OK, firstly a little more info. would be useful, particularly:-

Where are you in Thailand?

&

What passport do you travel on?

I suspect that the easiest option would be for you to do a border run just before your current permit to stay stamp expires (end of July I believe) and then do another when that one expires.

This assumes you are entitled to visa free entry (that's why I ask what passport you travel on) you get a 30 day stamp each trip, two runs will take you well into September so there should be no issues with flights.

Alternatively, if finances allow you could buzz over to a nearby embassy (the one to choose depends upon where you are located) and get a single entry tourist visa, this will give you a 60 day stamp on arrival, again plenty of time to organise a flight.

Whatever you do DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER OVERSTAYING!!!! it is not worth the potential problems.

Hello,

I have a problem. My non-immigrant B visa expires July, 31, however my air plane ticket is for September, 4.

How can I get visa for this period (July, 31 until September, 4) if it exceeds 30 day visa extension?

How can i solve it if I need to stay 34 days, not just 30 days, that would be covered by visa extension.

I do not want have any problems with the immigration office or the police.

Thank you very much for your help!

I really appreciate it!

Kate

So Oravka, what don't you like about my original answer??

You started two topics with the same question perhaps because you could not find your original post did not go back to page 2 which you select at top left of screen. They have been merged.
