PATTAYA:--The cousin of a 40 year old ticket vendor who is also a Pattaya Rescue Volunteer was shot and later died from his injuries in Hospital following a shooting at the Bali Hai Port in South Pattaya on Wednesday morning.

The dead man was named as Khun Wijan aged 40. There were many witnesses to the shooting and the man with the gun was identified as a cousin of the victim, Khun Boonsong aged 38, who had just been released from Prison.

He confronted the victim at the Port and claimed that while in Prison, Khun Wijan had been involved in an affair with his wife. These allegations were denied by the victim who was then shot in the chest by Khun Boonsong who fled the scene.
