Why have all my Thai girlfriends been so amicable then?

Recommended Posts

How's your village doing, since you left then?Regarding your last line.

As always, we can see lots of thought goes into your replies.

And you read it to the end. Seriously, well done!
You were obviously a high achiever at school.

And you have another post notched up, 1776
But you didn't answer the question.

If the take out message from the OP is that 'he loves Thai Girls'

I have to concur ... I love Thai Girls

... and two little 1/2 Thai boys ... wub.png

.

I 'adore' Thai girls they are my 'reason to live'.

I treat them as Princess's' whilst they tow the line.

And to be honest, Ive always been treated like a 'king'.

They have made the past 18 years in Thailand, a bachelors dream come true.

Although I had a pretty good crack in the UK living with 2 women!

Although I do advise if you really want a married life, get a girl from Fillys and bring her here.

There culture because of there religion, is far more conducive to making it work long term.

See the difference on comments on the Thai and Filipino forums.

Clearly there is a difference and its by a huge percentage, when it comes to long term successful relationships.

Being successful in Thailand is more about ,if you have retained your sense of humour , your sanity and most of your wealth.

You tried.

Well done.

OP, you are a good catch.

Good in paying the girls, good in caring about them, good in being truthful to them.

This is what Thai girls, and girls all over the world need, and you are a good provider.

The only thing, be aware that someday a girl, more clever than you, will take you to the cleaners, as they did with many others.

Hope that never happens to you.

Up until the line:

"My friends have had a great deal of luck in Soi 6".

Looks like just another windup.............................sad.png

Thank you for your kind words.

Its a chauvinistic culture designed by men for me.

How can you lose?

I never hope.

I plan.

Most guys don't plan ahead.

That's why they don't have private medical insurance or a private pension plan.

Bare in mind if your the same age and share the same culture,a relationship only has a 50% chance of working out anyway.

A 25 year age gap, her dubious occupation, cultural differences, an enforced educationally backward understanding of how the real world works.

Your chances of it working longer than 5 years are very low giving it 'your' very best shot.( I'm including buying a house in 'her' name!)

Holding a relationship together is hard work. Something the Thais are not well known for.

If you have a successful happy relationship for 10 years in Thailand with any women, any age, from any occupation.

I'd politely suggest you have had a fair crack of the whip and you should of have had your moneys worth!

A plan in case the relationship fails is practical and prudent.

I'm asked often, how I managed to retire so young in Thailand.

My answer is I've never paid for a divorce.

I watch as the guy works out how long he could live in Thailand on his wife's share of the settlement and then it dawns on him!

'Ave a great weekend.

No windup.

We all have 'lucky' friends who have married working girls and its worked. ( so far!)

I believe they were 'lucky'.

I'm sure they are not staying together just to 'prove me ' wrong.

I would add my friends who have made a success of this type of relationship are not the 'doormat' types.

What is the question???

All I read (twice) is a pamphlet on how to be a sugar daddy.

We're all leant on because we bring the bulk of the money to the relationship. But I read on here that many have working partners & are the sole income.

My question is, when does a leaflet become a pamphlet????

"If an uneducated peasant girl, can get a 5 or 10 million baht house bought and paid for in 2-5 years by any means necessary. Good Luck to her."

It's often implied on TV that uneducated peasant girls are remarkably smart, but couldn't it just as well be the case that the "farang" in question is remarkably stupid..?

Agree completely with OP. Never any drama and never lost a baht in over a dozen relationships (ranging from a few months to several years). The people who complain about gold diggers or getting screwed over either didn't know what they were getting into, or tried to play games with people way more qualified than them. I think most of us get what we deserve...but your mileage may vary.

My friends who get their girlfriends from soi 6, without exception, 'ALWAYS' tell me the girl is 'special'!

I agree you only need a 'brain' with a C+ level of education to adequately deal with a Thai girl.

Generally I have found working girls 'do' have a higher libido than 'normal' girls.( Which is an ingredient I need in a relationship to make it work.)

A trait which helped many choose this profession.

Some working girls do enjoy their work, contrary to popular belief on this site.

I'm amazed that the good looking young guys that come here are prepared to 'pay' for it!

I assume the culture in the west is slowly changing and the guys understand one way or another, they have to pay for it anyway!

Certainly I would of preferred to have spent my youth here, instead of Ibiza and Corfu.

Wow living here and finding poor girl that needs money what a nice guy. His last comment about SoI 6 pity full

Still, it could be Soi 6 in Nakhon Werdafukisdat as he wasn't specific about location.

They may be into knitting, have bridge clubs and that in the afternoons instead of the activities in Soi Yotsak..........................wink.png
