Hello can anyone please direct me where to find a cosmetic vet in Bangkok. My pet pitbull need some surgeries done to the ears. As like cropping or taping to rectifie unbalanced ear due to birth defect. Thanks in advance.

Why would anyone consider cosmetic surgery on a dog ? If it is causing the dog no distress or discomfort then just leave alone. Otherwise you are not doing it for the dog but rather yourself which in my opinion is wrong.

I don't think it causes much discomfort previously but recently its claws kept getting stuck in the loop of that defected ear causing it to tear and become infected and while playing with other puppies, other puppies teeth tends to get caught in the loop causing the infected pup to shake its head thus injuring itself more. I am thinking to crop that part off so puppy can enjoy playing, scratching, grooming itself.. etc without hurting itself. I have few Dogs (same breed) and not 1 have anything done to their ears. I also believe in natural ears rather than cropped ears causing puppy unnecessary pain just because human want pet to look nicer. After consulting my pets regular vet it seems the best option done so puppy can have a more normal socialize life instead of shuning playtime with other puppy cause of playtime pain, snapping aggressively at other pups or causing future injuries to itself. I understand your concern but this is also recommended by the vet but he don't do ear cropping nor can he recommend other vet he know that does this other than the animal hospital which will cost me double the medical expenses done by normal veterinarian clinic. :|
