Truemove - ironic or what?

Featured Replies

For the last two months I have driven to Big C to pay the UBC/Truevisions bills and the Trumove internet bills.

Both times the reply has been the same "Solly - internet no good. Cannot. Come back tomorrow"

So I went on to Tesco Lotus to pay. Similar response. I ended going on to Central Festival. Miles!

But hang on - Truemove sells internet access - and it's so good that I cannot pay my bills???

Methinks that this is a tad ironic.

Is there a decent internet service on the island? Just looking into CAT fibre optic

I rarely have any problems with 3BB.

Me neither, although the last week or so some thing is up, particularly on Thai Visa.... takes for ever to load sometimes.... sad.png

Cleared cache etc.... so really not sure who to blame! ..... (bad on both Firefox and Chrome)

T.I.T. Seems perfectly normal to me in this adopted home of ours that the internet should persistently down at a company selling the facility.biggrin.png

I had CAT fibre optic fitted last year. Up until two months ago no problem and worked well.

The problem now is that the internet signal keeps stopping. On average 2-3 times daily. It is quite an

irritant as it means that every time it happens I have to re-boot the modem and router.

If these relatively minor difficulties could be resolved I would be more than happy.

The cost of the fibre optic wires were high. I paid around 20k.

I think I got my slowness problem sorted today...I called 3BB and left number, they called back within 10 minutes and had a guy out to check my lines, with 2 hours.... I was very impressed! thumbsup.gif

Turns out some dumb twit, had plugged in wrong line to wrong plug....blink.png I won't mention a name! tongue.png.... but they guy sorted it pretty fast.... I can imagine what he was thinking as he left.... facepalm.gif

A friend just had CAT installed, cost him I believe 30,000 baht, but was a good distance to nearest CAT box... but he seems happy with it, so far..... thumbsup.gif
