Featured Replies

Hello everyone!

Could you please help me to find a TS4 pentalobe screwdriver for my MacBook Pro (with Retina) in Pattaya?!

The image below demonstrates the required shape:

Any suggestions and/or advice would be highly appreciated!!!wai.gif

Thank you very much!

I really need it fast sick.gif that is why I went searching around...

Aren't there any places at all where I have a chance to get one?

I have a Macbook Pro , but it has the regular tiny phillips head screws.

I see now that pentalobe screws were used on the iphone 4 and up.

So just head over to Tukcon, and head up to the second floor with the phones.

As you are at the top of the escalator look over to right side which would be the west

wall. About half way towards the back along the wall is a small shop called Final. It has

a green and yellow sign. The guy there is the master of iphones and ipads.

He will have the driver for sure, as he does hardware work on iphones

as well as software work. Also the nicest guy in the world. Tell him you are friends

with the very tall crazy guy... :-) So either bring your macbook pro with you

and he will do it on the spot, or maybe you can work out some kind of

deposit on it.

I just finished setting up windows 7 64 bit on my macbook. Set it up in

boot camp, and then also installed vmware fusion. So can either boot

up in windows and be lightning fast, or while you are in Mavericks you can

open a virtual Windows on an external monitor, and run both operating

systems at the same time. My macbook has only 8 gigs of ram, so it is a little

bit pokey when running both of them.

Or use a nail...

I always knew that Apple are cheap money-grabbing b*stards at heart but even so they could provide their child labourers with a proper screwdriver.
