June 29, 201411 yr As the heading says as I have to do my extension of stay signing on Tuesday the 1st of July. My Calender has 'Mid Year day off ' written on it so I was just wondering Thanks for any help cheers Foggy
June 29, 201411 yr Question is that "extension of stay signing" as you mention it A- Your 90 Day report ? B- The renewal of your extension of stay ? In case it's A you can do it 15 days before and up to 7 days late In case it's B better do it early, and not wait till the last day/
June 29, 201411 yr This "Mid Year Day" is for banks only. So they have time to count the notes Archaic "holidays" they have here. Special holidays applying exclusively to: bankers, teachers, government workers in Bangkok, students etc. etc. Not the slightest indication that government offices will be closed on July 1.
June 29, 201411 yr 1 July (Tuesday) Mid Year Bank Holiday (Auditing) Looks like a holiday coming up on the 11 July (Friday) Asalha Bucha..... that will probably mean immigration closed and no alcohol if I remember... Can't find the link for holidays

Can't find the link for holidays Look at a related thread about the period from July 11 to 14: http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/738387-asalha-bucha-day-2014-july-11-and-the-consulates/ I can not find a 100% reference info, but it is clear: July 11 closed, July 14 closed likely. Looong weekend. Stay at home
June 30, 201411 yr Immigration is open on the first of July. Only banks are closed because of mid-years banking day.
