Thanks for that Bruno - I wondered what the yellow/white cheques were for.

Yes - I too noticed lots of 'free' curb space in both Chaweng and Bangrak.

I also noticed some folk in the Bangrak market area that were moving-on the 'mobile' fruit sellers. (Those selling from the back of their trucks.)

The folk were not BIBs but were dressed in brown with the words 'City Law Enforcement' written on the backs of their jackets.

Maybe these folk are from the local government - I read somewhere that local government law enforcers were now in charge of drug offenses. (As opposed to the police.)
