Computer-Shop that does I-Mac / Upgrades?

Featured Replies

Hi there

Could anyone point me to a shop that can do new install on an older I-Mac (OS X-10.4.11)

Does Pattya2You do Apple? Thank you. MS>

There is a shop on the ground floor of Tukcom that specializes in Apple. It's located SE corner. It's set up like an Apple Store but I don't think it's a real licensed Apple Store. That being said, I have taken my Mac in for RAM upgrades and they did it quickly and without issue.

There is a similar dedicated Apple shop in Central but I have no idea whether it does repairs/upgrades etc.

I don't think so, I bought mine from there, had a problem inside a month and then lost it for 6/7 weeks while they returned it to Bangkok for repair. (That was 4/5 years back so things might have changed for the better since)

.

I upgraded a macbook OSX 10.5.8 with only 1 Gb Ram to 10.6 Leopard

Further OSX upgrade versions are available but only by increasing the RAM.

A RAM upgrade is simple to do yourself .

Once RAM of adequate size is established , then the OSX can be upgraded

There is a shop on the 1st floor of Tukcom, I think it's called icare, they deal in Macs etc.
