July 30, 201411 yr Hey guys, kind of thinking ahead and the way things are at the moment it's likely to change before then but... I'm planning on a trip back to the UK for Christmas. Currently I'm aware I have to get a stamp from immigration which will effectively let me back into the country when I return in January. My 1 year visa expires at the end of Feb and I need to do a 90 day in October. Does anyone know more about this? As I say times are ch-ch-changing as the song goes but I'm trying to figure out things now so I know how much (more) money to fork out to immigration cometh the time. Thanks. July 31, 201411 yr You seem to be in Thailand on an extension of stay and wish to keep your status alive when you visit the UK, is that correct? If that's the case you need to get a re-entry permit from your local Immigration Officer, or from Immigration at the airport when you leave. A single entry re-entry permit will cost 1,000 Baht at your local office and a multi entry 3,800 Baht, slightly more at the airport. Without a re-entry permit your extension of stay would be lost when you left Thailand. You need to report to Immigration 90 days after you enter Thailand, you can do this in person or, at some offices by post. If you can confirm your circumstances I will move your question to the appropriate forum. theoldgit
