Opinion Unpacking Thailand’s Beauty Ideals: A Call for Diversity and Inclusion
I don't want to move toward diversity and inclusivity. You're either beautiful or you're not. If you're not beautiful, tough. Too bad - get over it. You weren't dealt that hand of cards. Not everyone is - most people aren't. Then you can just be like the rest of us average people. If you are beautiful, then that illusion will dispel withing two or three decades and new "beautiful" people will take your place. If you actually were fooled into believing in your own inherent beauty, you'll probably end you life extremely unhappy, and no doubt will cosmetically butcher yourself in the process - then you WILL be truly ugly. Join the majority. That's karma in a nutshell. And in reality, many of those who actually, in my own opinion, are truly physically beautiful spend most of their lives looking into a mirror and seeing someone who can't live up to their own expectations of beauty. Too bad they didn't have well-grounded parents. Personally I'm more interested in what is beneath that superficial layer of illusion society labels as "beauty." And really - anyone who want's the majority to collectively accept ugly people as beautiful are actually more interesting in changing people's attitudes by force. It won't work, nor should it. I get the distinct feeling the Op wants society to be forced to accept the beauty in the beast. Why? That too is indulging in illusion. And nothing the OP spewed here is unique to Thailand - it's universal. Wanna know what really is healthy? Having a positive self imagine regardless of how society defines beauty and accepting yourself as you are. Beauty? "Pfft!" -

How to tell if you're dealing with a MAGA folk?

Maybe a better example would be: if they are not protesting at universities or elsewhere, (you know like yelling "from the river to the sea" or wearing a keffyieh), then perhaps we can be fairly certain that "they are MAGA folk." -

Is Now the Time to Go All-In on Silver—or Stick with Gold?
I am hesitating to buy gold right now, hoping that trump gets thrown out of power, or assassinated by one of his maga followers who lost their job, house, and family. And hoping that will inspire re-confidence in the dollar, and the stock exchanges in merica, dropping gold back down a bit. Crypto is new (for me) and interesting, ethereum seems to be solid, as is xrp for a long term large gain, so I am slowly increasing my investments in them. -

Best way to transfer money to Thailand please?
im a volunteer fighter in ukraine for the last 2 yrs now. but my family member from turkey will send some money from turkey to a thai bank account. he told me he cannot link his or my banks to wire because its only accepting american banks. other way is to send via credit or debit card but he said asking passport and also documents to confirm your address. but i think thats because he said he opened an account in wise. can he still send to thailand without opening an account in wise? he told me he came to the screen where he should enter the bank info but he didnt do anything before getting more info thanks
