With a heavy heart and great sorrow, I post this. Joe Smith was killed in a hit and run accident on Sun morning. Joe owned the go kart track under JWS Motorsport.

He leaves behind Wendy his wife and two great girls Hanna and Rachel. Our thoughts and prayers are with them.

To lose a loved one suddenly and for no reason shakes to the foundation our expectation that life continues untouched and that personal tragedy is something that only happens to others in the Bangkok Post. Life is indeed short.

Joe was a client of ours but also had became a great friend over the years. He or I would call up almost every month just to chat. I always looked forward to his chuckle, which was priceless. Joe you will be missed.
