Now they are striking! http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-28519085 I applied for a replacement UK Passport at VSF Global BKK for my son end of last June. Previously 9 Weeks was the maximum expected wait. Today after pushing multiple times via email the HMPO Bangkok Office clowns to update me they replied "This process takes 6-12 weeks approximately" They also provided this link to extend a childs current passport, main restriction is 'you can only undertake this if you have not applied for a new one!' https://www.gov.uk/get-an-emergency-passport-extension-or-child-travel-document If they had sent me this link it would have been of greater use! <deleted> Sake!
