bizzle
I'm coming to Phuket for a month, I was just wondering if anyone can recommend a studio room budget type accommodation for one month? Around 6000-7000baht, somewhere that won't rob me for bills at end... Thanks guys

bizzle
I know of a place in Phuket town that is around 5000 and is really nice but that might be too far out for me. My friends has a place which is 6000 but the landlord won't rent out for a month unless paid daily
FritsSikkink
My friends has a place which is 6000 but the landlord won't rent out for a month unless paid daily So what is the problem there? Want to stay a month and skip paying?

Want to stay a month and skip paying? I assume the 6,000 baht is based on much longer term than one month. For a month only the landlord will demand the higher daily rate for the entire month. OP does not say what month he is coming. 200 baht/day budget seems tough to me, maybe Phuket town, but beach resorts, doubt it.

Shot
6-7K will get you a standard Thai block apartment. Nothing inside but tile and a toilet. Nothing wrong with that if your on a budget, just invest in something to sleep on, and some bug juice.

Kaalle
You could probably find some mansion that will let you stay for a month for around 7-8000, for sure, maybe even 6000. Hopefully including electric and water. Just shop around, no shortage of possible alternatives. Edited August 10, 2014 by Kaalle
