nss70
Hello all. My partner and I are starting the process of moving to Thailand. I am a UK citizen and she is has dual citizenship for the UK and Thailand. I'm clear that she should initially enter Thailand, to live/work, by leaving the UK on her UK passport and enter pass Thailand immigration using her Thai passport. So the real question is; What is the best procedure, in her case, for any future visits to the UK? Use the Thai PP on a UK visa showing this in all ports? Visits would be of a typical holiday period of one or two weks. TIA
7by7
The procedure for dual nationals is very simple. Use her Thai passport to enter and leave Thailand. Use her British passport to enter and leave the UK. She may need to show both passports to the airline when checking in to show them that she does not need a visa for the other end. Both Thailand and the UK allow dual nationality.
