A lot of nice people on holiday paying the price for the actions of their leaders.  Pretty typical, unfortunately.

Yes, so nice.  All of them.

A Russian tycoon says his executive jet is grounded because of US sanctions.

Doesn't it just ruin your day when that happens.

It really gives me the irrites! Now I'm just gonna have to fly First Class on some airline... doh!

What next, Russians sleeping on the beach after being kicked out of hotels because the bills not paid, no flights home, soup kitchens outside Maxx...

Should make them rethink to blindly support those leaders.

Now, now, there is plenty of blame to go around... Uncle Sugar is far from innocent in this little Kabuki dance... As always, follow the money, or oil / gas in this case...

or NATO establishing medium range ballistic missile basis directly at  Russia's western border?

Could it be that NATO has a reason for that, or is it just that you would like to be able to blame NATO for not protecting us if something happens ?

I've heard that Malaysian Airlines is offering some very good specials, if they have trouble finding a cheap flight home.

how many Russians have you met who told you that they blindly support their leaders? coffee1.gif

Maybe not support, but firmly believe what they are told:

http://edition.cnn.com/2014/08/04/world/europe/ukraine-crisis/index.html?hpt=hp_t3

They say they believe separatists who have told them the Ukrainian army are American-backed fascists, set on attacking ethnic Russians.

"They crush us, the damn Americans. What are they doing? Where there is war in the world, they have a part," one woman said.

Of course the last statement could be a bit true, unfortunately!

They "firmly believe what they are told",,

so if they were told that the Ukraine had weapons of mass destruction would they stupidly follow?

There have been many Airlines in Europe and the U.S.A that have gone under over decades, flat broke, it does happen here to.

Not because of economic, political, financial sanctions imposed by the G-7 democracies it doesn't.

Ordinary people in Western Europe are fed up with this posturing by America.

We do not want another nut job cold war, We have moved on from that ancient mind set.

European citizens want to trade, move ahead and improve each others lives.

We do not need to go through this again,

We have learnt, unlike nutty Generals and Daft Politicians.
