1,000 positions available at Suvarnabhumi Airport, open for application this Friday at Labor Ministry

The Ministry of Labor, the Airports of Thailand Plc. and Loxley Plc. are accepting 1,000 employees to provide security at Suvarnabhumit Airport. The applicants will fill positions comprising head of image analysis, image analyser, and passenger search conductor. The first two positions require a bachelor's degree and the latter require highschool diploma or equivalent. Salaries range from 13,000 baht to 8,500 baht depending on position.

Applicants must be of Thai nationality, male applicants must be no shorter than 160 centimeters, and age between 22-45 years. They must have also filled military drafting requirements. Female applicants must be no shorter than 155 centimeters and age between 20-40 years at the start of work. Those who can communicate in English or those who scored no less than 300 points on the TOEIC test will receive special consideration.

The CV will comprise personal details, a copy of the ID card, result of the TOEIC exam, colour photograph and proof of education. Application will be filed at the Ministry of Labor starting this Friday and ending on July 29.

Personal comment: maybe I should have posted this in the Jobs and Economy Forum?

Thailand should have an anti-discrimination law regarding employment. If any employer publicly advertises for employees discriminate on grounds of sex, age, religion they should be fined or some punishment.

I have searched the other day on classifies and found that even a motorbike messenger requires a post grad degree to apply for the job! (if it's not a typo mistake)
