webfact Posted August 10, 2014 Share Posted August 10, 2014 British Bike Driver injured in Pattaya Beach Road crashPATTAYA: -- In the early hours of Sunday a road crash involving a pedestrian and two motorbikes occurred on Pattaya Beach Road in front of Central Festival Pattaya Beach. A female pedestrian aged in her thirties was seriously injured and taken to Hospital while a British Bike driver, Mr. Darren Johnson aged 32 was treated at the scene by medics after sustaining a minor leg injury. Police determined the crash was caused by Khun Wiwat aged 17, who was driving a Honda CBR. I for one, is still awfully amazed at how people can be hit by motor vehicles. Plain and Simple, DONT get on the street if there is anything moving. Stay the eff clear. Cross only when possible. Of course, I'm not there, somebody will say something for her defense. 1) Don't give opportunity, and it will never happen. CB Yes, earlier today I was " sandwiched" between a motorbike on my left, going the wrong way and a baht bus on my right, reversing. I just decided to stop dead and wait for them to finish their silly antics. Well i have to admit i just love to walk everywhere! fab weather a nice 10 km stroll most mornings " catching a few rays enroute " its another world and you can stop and chat and meet new friends and ladies whilst " strolling about " ( you can't do that on a motorbike ) But the people i find are the worst " motorbike riders " are the " motorbike taxis " - most are clueless with very little experience and seem to get so " over excited " when they get a customer ( " money " ) that they don't seem to look before setting off into " a world of oblivion....."
