Criminal Court to make ruling against EC on July 25

The Criminal Court Thursday scheduled July 25 for making a ruling on the case in which the Election Commission was accused of holding unlawful repeated election in April.

The court scheduled the plaintiff, Democrat deputy-secretary-general Thavorn Sennium, and the defendants - EC chairman Vasana Puemlarp, EC commissioners Prinya Nakchudtree and Virachai Naewboonnien - to deliver their closing statements on July 17.

The court makes the schedules after the defendants told the court that it did not have more witnesses to testify.
