Hello again,

It seems to me, that so many stories are conjured up by Thaivisa for the sole benefit of its avid readers. Thus, keeping them on their toes with conjecture with the odd red herring thrown in to keep up the pace of posts with the help of the authoritarians. This deceptive so-called journalism has become so farcical ‘it beggars belief’ and cannot for the life of me understand how one gets away with it. If this kind of behaviour, was used as a ploy in other places in the West and especially to up the ante for the advertisers for financial gain, would be shot down by the powers that be - for being so irresponsible verging on fabricated sensationalism.
 

Many of these far-fetched fairy stories are rescinded within 24/48hrs, once the higher echelons do further investigation to verify these topics for its ever so important TV members, save them getting even more irate, astonished, confused or even downright worried. It’s also became apparently obvious, that the voluntary, vigilante, elderly pensioner brigade, who work tirelessly to keep the lookout for anything they think worthy of verbal attacks, false teeth set in place to bite away and suck at the ankles (so to speak) with their somewhat toxic verbosity with a no-holds barred attitude with advice as follows: 

Leave Thailand, don’t come here for sympathy, you should have thought of this or that before you came here, by an elite card, get married, go home and come back when your 50 years of age and much more affluent, you don’t have a degree so cannot teach anyone other than other nonsensical jobs as a Librarian or whatever, get a WP if you want to clean your car, sing a song in public, sing a song in church, help people for free, you need forget the west and learn to become a subservient Farang puppet like us, we don’t like this topic’ because it will be regarded as trolling since, it hits-home too much and might upset other of my clan, take onboard we are fully experienced in ways of life in this country and don’t dare try to outsmart us, are you a Teacher, JT, a tourist, overstayer or whatever. The list of abuse is never ending.
 

Reflecting back to the past, Thaivisa was not so narrow-minded then nor so intent in thrashing TV members to death. This, when any superficial topics were given a lot more comical replies to posts, which seemed to keep us all amused. Now, everything is so serious and forbidding DOOM N’ GLOOM is in the air.

Something should be addressed, an old adage comes to mind. Life is too short, and even shorter for these hostile older iceman types. So just maybe, they should try and be a lot more helpful and considerate rather than condemn people for things ‘that to ordinary everyday people’ are not so significant. I was brought up to respect my elders. How would this be humanely possible with these reprobates? What happens when their own family want to come live with them in Thailand? Do they thrash them to near death with the Spanish inquisition or give them the third degree? I think NOT!!

 

Bangkok and indeed the whole of Thailand is in the Northern Hemisphere, so it could possibly be something to do with how the equator that’s effecting or frying these western old-timers defunct brains, installing/radiating out some strange rays of unfriendly atmosphere, making them think they’ve become a Thai/Farang, which to most Thais would be construed as pathetic & laughable.  You are what You Are!!!

 

Anyway, off out now for some fresh air to breathe into my lungs and get me ready for the day’s events.

P.S Nowadays, I hardly make anything more than a passing comment, more so flitting through a lot of the OP’s topics given that the backlash, (most of the time) becomes a pretty tiring exercise with no valid assistance forthcoming if posting has been taken up by the hang em’ high crew.

It's not exclusive to TV.  Many forums have the unhappy types that feel the need to bitch and complain about everything anyone posts.   I don't think it's just older people.  It's the miserable f'ers that have lost all hope and want others to suffer in their unhappiness.
