Featured Replies

Why are Thai Embassy in Singapore so strict? and the embassy in lao more relax?

do not know where I should post this post, but good to know the embassies that are okay to take to obtain a visa in, it is best to go to the Thai embassy here in Norway for me to get a visa?

Totaly depends on the kind of visa you want to apply for where is best.

If you leave from Norway, it is best to apply in Norway as without a visa you must show a ticket out of Thailand within 30 days of arrival. Without that the airline can refuse you boarding.

Could be the staff hired , better people in LAOS ?? They need to standardize all consulates and get rid of that little catch all "may require additional " . Had a problem at US consulate when I lost a passport , wanted my birth certificate . I said wait a minute I will go to the 7-11 and get one . We argued about that for weeks , I had all kinds of ID . Finally got my passport without my birth certificate . But the upper people in Thai consulates hide in a back room and you can't see them or talk to them .facepalm.gif facepalm.gif facepalm.gif facepalm.gif

i think the thai embassy in bali is good, they can give me trippel-entry torist visa, someone the this forum told me that, but i never try, i only have a single tourist visa, i get that visa in lao 1 years ago, im not in thailand now.

It is a honorary Thai consulate in Bali not a embassy. That is a big difference. Their are no Thai bureaucrats working there.
