Visa expire on Sept. 4 what to do?

Featured Replies

I need some advise regarding to our situation, I've recently change my company, and now my company is on process to prepare my documents to get NON-B, if there's no problem I can go to Laos on the 20th of this month for my NON-B, and after that waiting for another 7 days I hope so, for my working permit. My problem is that the NON-O visa of my husband is expire on September 4, what if my documents to support him is not yet ready before his visa expire? what to do? and what if all my documents is prepare before the said expiration do he need to go out again in BKK to get new NON-O, or we can go in the immigration and present my documents instead.

Your spouses permisison to stay is dependent on your permission to stay. if you lose your permisison to stay, he will automatically loses his permisison to stay and he needs to leave the country. Even if his permisison to stay is till the 4th.

If you where on an extension of stay based on your old job, your permisison to say is now cancelled and you would be on overstay and so is your husbands.

Attention
If the alien granting extension of stay permit in The Kingdom for the reason of working at a business company/organization etc., resigns from such company / organization, his/her stay permit will be immediately terminated. As a consequence, The stay permit of his/her dependents will be terminated as well. Work Permit and Stay Permit must be revoked by competent officials.

Thank you Mario2008 for clarification, if it is the case i will go out by next week to Laos to get mynew Non-B, can my husband go with me to apply for a TV, obviously i need to prepare first all my documents for him to apply again for NON-O. Applying TV for him is a risky to do or not? because i worry about the immigration will not allow him to go back in. Thanks in advance for the advice. smile.png

If you go out for a non-b your husband should go with you at the same time and apply for a non-O as your dependent. He would show proof of marriage and preferably a letter fromt the company confirming you work for them and he ccompanies you and asking for a visa for him too.

Only in case this would fail should he apply for a tourist visa.

That's what i really wanted to do, however i also seek advice the agency regarding this matter as per them we cannot go together, I need to get a Non-B first before he get Non-O, is there anyone out there who do this before? please i need your input. BTW, understand that WP is one of the requirements for NON-O, sad to say that i can get my WP 7 workings days after i get my NON-B.

The work permit application form (WP3) should be enough. But can be different depending on which consulate you use.

As said, apply. If they do say no a toruist visa should be issued.
