Obtaining a Non-O volunteer visa

Hi

I will apply for Non-O volunteer visa( teaching). I hope i can hear some information and experiences regarding the documents required.

On the Vientiane's Embassy site they said:

- recommendation letter

- registration certificate of employer/foundation

- copy of the contract

I already had a Non-B before, so i am wondering if volunteer teachers are exempted from teacher licence rules.

Volunteers are exempt from the teaching license rules.

A teachers license is not needed nor a degree.

Thanks guys, so basically those documents above, plus copy of the previous work permit ?

Police clearance certificate maybe?

I suppose the letter from MoE will be needed for work permit process not for visa?

You will not need a copy of your old work permit.

You will not need a police certificate.

Vientiane's website is good. What they list is what they want.

I would take a letter form the school and a letter from the area education office if you plan to volunteer for a government school.
