collecting an animal at Suvarnabhumi

Recommended Posts

Was not so sure to post this here or in the airport forum, but we are not allowed to double post, and this forum seems slightly more active.

A friend of mine will fly with her cat to Germany on 31/8. First she'll fly from Phuket to Suvarnabhumi, cat in the cargo hold, and then on to Germany after a 3,5 hours transit, on this flight the cat will go in the cabin, inside the little cage on her lap. What I am after is recent information on where to collect the cat at Suvarnabhumi, and how to get there from domestic arrivals, and then on to international departures.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Yesterday at Phuket Airport, we were told just to collect the cat (inside the little cage) at the luggage carousel at Suvarnabhumi.

On another occasion, I had to pick up a dog at the cargo department at Phuket Airport, but in this case the dog had traveled unaccompanied.
