Tourtist Visa Thailand

Hi All, (Sorry for spelling error in Title!)

As a UK citizen I would like to know how long i would get on a Tourist Visa these days for Thailand,

as i haven't been for a while and i was told by a Visa Company in the UK, i would get 60 days and then have to leave the country

to get a further 30 days .And the tourist visa is activated from the date of arrival in Thailand and not the issue date, is this correct?

You do not need a visa company in the UK, can apply to a local consualte or by mail.

You can extend the 60 days for further 30, Bt 1,900 at any immigration office in Thailand.

The permitted period starts when you arrive in Thailand.

What has confused me is if its a 3 month Tourist Visa why is it not for 90 days straight?

I must admit i'm a bit rusty on the Thai Visa lately!

Thailand regulations, there is even worst than that. What matters is that it works for you.
