Pet hospital in BKK

Featured Replies

My macaw has swallowed something that has had him passing blood and not eating properly for a few days, we had xrays done yesterday that showed something in his stomach. We are on the way to BKK today to go to the hospital in Sukhumvit soi 55, anyone with any experience with this hospital?

I ended up taking my macaw to the Pet4 Polyclinic, that's right, my parrot went to the Polyclinic, they a room that is specifically devoted for treating exotic pets, the diagnosis from the treating vet was a bacterial infection in his intestine, or intestinitis, we got in very quickly, some of the staff spoke English and the customer service was excellent.

MOVED TO PETS

On Soi Phaholyothin near kaset there is the Kassett veterinary university, a virtual general hospital for all types of animals, a Truely amazing place, with professors and residents. 5 or 6 floors, emergency wards, and great and tender care. I would recommend that to anyone whose pet is experiencing an emergency.

We had an emergency amputation done there in an urgent manner.

Good luck to your bird.

Agree with recommendation for Kasetsart.

Re the Tonglor pet hospital, quality is good but (1) very expensive and (2) not sure how much experience with birds. Range of expertise and experience is definitely highest in the university Vet hospitals like Kasetsart.
