Teacher for Pronunciation

Featured Replies

Does anyone have any experience with a teacher correcting their pronunciation? My Thai is pretty ok, but since I started off by learning on my own I've come out with bad pronunciation. I'd like to have it corrected and am looking for a good teacher who will be patient and not give up. If you know of anyone please send me a pm. Thanks.

I have found actual teachers more forgiving on bad pronunciation because they are used to students. Several times I caught myself saying something wrong but was not corrected.

Practice with Thai friends. If pronounced wrong they will not understand.

There is a Thai massage shop near my home 150 baht per hour. I practice Thai while getting a massage. They speak very little Englush.

Tempted to ask if they will listen to me read a thai book for same price.
