SailingHome Posted September 6, 2014 Share Posted September 6, 2014 (edited) Oh, NO! We took holiday from BKK to avaoid immigration there and enjoy the Jomtien immigration as well as the sea. Simple extensions of tourist visas. All the Web sites say it is open on Saturday 08:30 to Noon. It is closed, gate barred, restaurants closed, ... Not surprisingly, visa expires TODAY! Are we stuck having to pay 2 days overstay each by going Monday? Whether BKK or Pattaya matters not to me on Monday. Is Bangkok (or a closer to Jomtien office I can get to NOW) open today? AFAIK Jomtien Immigration used to be open on Saturday mornings but only a few operation were available. (mainly 90-days reports and non-Imm extensions I think) I didn't know they stopped to open on Saturdays ?? or when it happened ?
