There's another thread about coming out in Thailand. This video is probably more farang-land-specific and not so much a how-to as it is a reminder of how some reactions seem insensitive but predictable. Coming out in Thailand seems to be more a matter of simply being yourself, not so much a major press conference event. "We" (my long term "friend", who is definitely not a bar boy and, while younger than me, no spring chicken) and I always travel together, go shopping together, eat in restaurants together, travel in "our car" together to Bangkok where we stay in a hotel together, etc. What's to announce?

He is annoying....

Well, his intended audience in this particular video is the breeders and I'm sure we all seem annoying to many of them.

Not promoting or endorsing him, but he is quite popular. His main spiel has to do with exercising and healthful eating. Quite a few of the young and attractive (who are well aware of how attractive they are) can be annoying. Most of that will be cured in time as gravity and the calendar take their toll.

The appropriate thing to say when someone is coming out?

"I'll pray for you"

The appropriate response:

"I just figured out I was gay last night and my prayers have been answered"

The guy in the video in the OP is annoying. I have seen many of his Youtube videos, and don't remember his name. I certainly disagree on most of his points on what not to say.
